More options. More people screened. More lives saved.
GCCA welcomes the updated @AmericanCancer Society colorectal cancer screening guidelines, which add new blood-based and at-home screening options.
We agree: the best screening test is the one people do. Expanding choice can help close screening gaps and save lives. #CRC #ColorectalCancer #CancerScreening
Our CEO @AndrewRSpiegel has a new op-ed in @dcexaminer: The "Most Favored Nation" drug pricing policy could slow cancer cures and hurt the patients who need innovation most. There's a better path forward. ๐

FAP is a hereditary syndrome. Nearly 100% lifetime CRC risk if untreated.
Dan had a routine colonoscopy at 50. Hundreds of polyps. Genetic testing confirmed attenuated FAP. He chose preventive surgery. 13+ years later, cancer-free.
20+ polyps? Ask about FAP testing.

Many oncologists won't raise the subject of clinical trials unless you ask. Most patients don't know they can.
This guide from @GlobalCRC helps close that gap.
#TrialTalk
5 questions worth asking your oncologist about clinical trials:
โ Are there any trials appropriate for me?
โ How does a trial fit into my treatment?
โ What are the benefits and risks?
โ What costs are covered?
โ Can I leave if I change my mind?

Worth noting: DPYD testing guidelines still vary by country. NCCN updated guidance in Oct 2025 to recommend pre-treatment testing for patients taking capecitabine but global uptake is inconsistent. This is the gap Know Your Biomarker is working to close.
https://t.co/hbuLcvcuL6
BRAF reveals info about the tumor. DPYD reveals info about the patient.
Both are biomarkers in colorectal cancer. Both are guideline-recommended. And they are asking completely different questions.
Knowing the difference can change the course of treatment. Knowing is worth the wait.
