America First Refining plans to build the first new U.S. oil refinery in nearly 50 years at the Port of Brownsville in South Texas. The plant would process 165,000 bpd of light shale crude into gasoline, diesel and jet fuel after startup in 2029.

Nuberg EPC has won a new contract from Al Ghaith Chemical Industries to expand chlor-alkali capacity by 120 tpd in Sur, Oman, and add an 80 tpd calcium chloride plant. Total chlor-alkali output will reach 190 tpd by 2028.
