Today we celebrated Global Scouse Day by making our own pan of Scouse with beetroot and crusty bread. Once it was ready, we served it up & ate with with some beetroot and crusty bread! The children enjoyed tasting the Scouse and said that it was ‘tasty’, ‘delicious’ ‘yummy’!
Today is @GlobalScouseDay & I’m celebrating with my version. (There are many). Basic onion, carrot, lamb or beef, potatoes & stock. Slow cooked for at least 3 hours & eaten with pickled red cabbage or beetroot. Blind Scouse is without meat either cos you are veggie or brassic. 🤣
Brown sauce? Beetroot? Crusty bread? What’s the best way to have Scouse on @GlobalScouseDay ?
🔊 @philmunnsradio tried some from Lucy In The Sky this morning, LISTEN ⬇️
