This is not the end of our fight. There is no turning back. #Hongkongers around the world will continue to fight alongside those at ground-zero, till we win this together.

[Manchester Consulate Assault]
Here are the people INVOLVED in the assault on the Pro-dem protester in front of the Chinese consulate in Manchester.
REMINDER: These are the people the CCP employs overseas to represent them. Fitting actually.

This is deeply concerning and both the Foreign & Home Secretaries must investigate urgently.
I've previously raised protections for Hong Kongers in the UK with the @fcdo and this will be raised in Parliament urgently.
Awful, credible reports that the Chinese Consul General in Manchester, Zheng Xiyuan, has been personally involved in vandalism and possible assault.
If so @JamesCleverly should put in an official request for him to leave his post and return home.
A Hongkonger was dragged into the PRC Consulate and beaten.
If the consulate staff responsible are not held accountable, Hongkongers would live in fear of being kidnapped and persecuted.
Foreign&Home Secretaries must Investigate and protect our community and people in the UK.
How can you help Ukraine from abroad❓

Hong Kong police have arrested Denise Ho (@hoccgoomusic), a popular pro-democracy singer and a Canadian citizen. The arbitrary detention of our citizens has not stopped. This arrest requires a swift and emphatic response @JustinTrudeau@melaniejoly. #cdnpoli#StandWithHongKong
Canadian Denise Ho was arrested in Hong Kong for supporting an independent, free press.
Her arrest, among 6, violates the 1984 Sino-British treaty.
We can’t continue to turn a blind eye to Beijing’s egregious violations of international law.

@StandNewsHK is the largest pro-democracy media remaining after the fall of Apple Daily. Its reports reveal the government’s corrupted behaviors and the agency is thus considered subversive by the authority. Beijing seeks to control the flow of information among the public.
When free press is the focal point of human rights discussion this year, CCP keeps charging journalists and media that dare to challenge them and speak the truth. Among many others, the arrests of Denise Ho, Margaret Ng are prime examples. RELEASE THEM!

The arrests of #StandNews staff & singer Denise Ho @hoccgoomusic are yet another example of the Beijing authorities' crackdown on free speech in #HongKong. We in #Taiwan regret to see their detention & call on the international community to stand up for freedom & democracy in HK.
Hundreds of Hong Kong police officers arrested seven people connected to Stand News, a pro-democracy news site, and raided their headquarters in yet another crackdown on the city’s independent press. https://t.co/kahZqjzuVz
#HongKongSAR: We are alarmed by continued crackdown on civic space, incl. today’s arrest of 6 media workers at Stand News. We urge the authorities to ensure that further proceedings fully respect rights to freedom of information, expression & association, as well as due process.
Please see below: I’ve written to @GAC_Corporate to enquire on what’s being done to assist the latest Canadian citizen kidnapped by the communist regime of China, @hoccgoomusic. #StandWithHongKong
.@JustinTrudeau, over to you! Please speak out and secure your fellow Canadian @hoccgoomusic’s release from detention. Denise and I shared the stage at 2019 @OsloFF. She is one of the kindest and courageous people I know. Speaking truth to power isn’t crime. #StandWithHongKong
#BREAKING: Some features published on the @StandNewsHK website have apparently disappeared. The removals came after the arrests of six of the pro-democracy news outlet’s former and current managers and the raid of its headquarters. It is unclear how many stories were gone.
Chow Tat-chi, better known as TC Chow, was a former director of @StandNewsHK, and former chief editor of the news outlet’s science section. He is an early supporter of Stand News’s predecessor House News
