🇬🇧 Super excited to launch The New Industrial Britain!

At a time when Britain faces real challenges, I wanted to explore what helped us lead the Industrial Revolution and what those lessons could mean for our AI future.

I believe we have the ingredients: talent, ideas, universities, investment and global connections. How do we bring them together to supercharge our future, with people and skills at its centre?

Through a publication and series of conversations, we’ll explore that opportunity, starting with @RussShaw1, founder of @GlobalTechAdv .

Watch our conversation below

0:05 Defining "The New Industrial Britain"
1:14 Assessing Britain's current tech ecosystem
3:01 impact of AI on productivity, economic growth
4:46 Strategies for talent retention and keeping the UK attractive for international businesses.
8:52 Discussing entrepreneurial ambition in the UK
11:44 Importance of supercharging traditional industries with AI.
14:29 Key messages to the government: prioritizing workforce training and the importance of convening key sectors to drive innovation.
