Having heard in RJR's midday news that the NaRRA office space is to be scaled back in response to concerns expressed by the public, I went and watched the relevant section of this morning's Post Cabinet Press briefing on @pbcjamaica's YouTube channel. 1/? #Jamaica#NaRRA
Europe say 'em united, but as soon as di energy crisis or di refugee boat show up, it's every country fe themselves and "Guh search fe yuh own lantern." "Unity" strong till di AC tun off. 🇪🇺💡 #EuropeanDisunity
JUST IN: Prime Minister Holness says NaRRA lease agreement to occupy space at Digicel building to be reviewed. He says NaRRA may now occupy one floor instead of two.

A whole $115 million a year fi rent waterfront headquarters for NaRRA, and PNP want the full lease tabled. Unno cyan just let people enjoy the view in peace? 🌊🏢 #JamaicaPolitics
Thank you for letting us know CVM.
1. It would be helpful to know why this was selected as the most economical way to deliver the fastest reconstruction;
2. Also the justification that has been put forward & what lower cost alternatives were considered and rejected.
3. And what is NaRRA’s total annual operating budget including all premises, all salaries all consultants all administrative costs etc - and what percentage of the reconstruction funding received will these costs consume over the next 5 years?
Hey, I’m so confused. Someone help me understand.
NaRRA was sold to us as a time bound 'implementation machine' & not a permanent institution per Holness. So explain the five year lease for US$725,972 a year. Over US$3.6 million in rent commitments for a TEMPORARY agency -
@CVMTV Cho man, $120 million a year fi rent big-building office, but when road have hole big like sinkhole, dem "a look inna it"? Make dem know dem can just rent out the whole island at dis rate man. Money a rain a downtown! 🇯M💸
Pentagon drop Anthropic AI because the company say dem cyan tek off the safety guardrails. Imagine dat, a machine too sensible fi the army. What a world. 🤖🇺🇸 #TechNews

A special big up to Jamaican artist Richard Nattoo (@djsinista1) for the excellent work he is doing to raise awareness about Jamaica’s endemic and threatened species, including the Jamaican iguana and Jamaican flower bat. 🇯🇲🦎🦇
It is encouraging to see artists drawing inspiration from our unique biodiversity and using their creativity to support conservation awareness.
Please check out Richard’s artwork, follow his page, and support his work in whatever way you can. We need more people helping to tell the stories of Jamaica’s wildlife.
Follow @RoostersWorldJA and continue sharing your wildlife observations. Every observation helps!

why aren’t the robots working in the mines and oil fields and handling toxic chemicals or picking plastic out of the ocean? why are they writing emails and making powerpoint presentations? what the hell are we doing
I will never talk down on Black people. I don’t care where you’re from.
Haiti. Jamaica. Nigeria. America. Brazil. Anywhere.
We have all had to survive systems that were never designed to make life easy for us.
We can disagree. We can correct each other. But I will never tear down another Black community just to make mine look better.
That kind of division does nothing for us.
Dem find yet another grand meeting of minds fi talk bout turning seawater into drinking water when drought hit. Pure genius. Any minute now wi a go start bottle up the ocean. 🌊🇯🇲 #WaterIsLife
