Especially for a first-generation student, your first class is not just an achievement—it’s one of your tools for survival.

My first class was my ticket—it qualified me for the ~£20,000 scholarship and inspired others to believe in my cause. Don’t listen to the mockery of your peers.

They laughed at me too for studying as hard as I did and for calculating my GPA in advance to predict my scores.
