Dangote just gave investors something important to watch.
100% of our income is in dollars… you will collect your dividends in dollars.
He also said investors will see the refinery’s 9-month figures before the IPO closes, noting that the refinery didn't operate much in January and February.
As investors, the 9-month numbers may tell us more about the refinery's true earning power.
The 💯 correct. Mgt and ownership maters alot in any business.
There are informations that are not easily available to retail investors that they have asses to. So

IF YOU ARE HEAVILY INVESTED IN PZ PLC
THIS IS FOR YOU
One thing I’ve learned from studying PZ is to separate recurring earnings from one-off gains.
FY2026 looked impressive: revenue grew 22% to ₦260.5bn, while PAT jumped 369% to ₦43.2bn.
But there’s an important detail u should not overlook:
the result included a ₦38.65bn profit from disposal of assets.
So I’m more interested in what the core FMCG business can consistently generate.
The latest Q1 result is interesting: revenue still grew 10% to ₦64.8bn and gross profit rose 24%, but PAT fell 66% to ₦4.63bn as FX gains and other income dropped sharply.
That tells me PZ needs time.
I’m watching recurring revenue, operating profit, margins and EPS—not just headline profit.
For me, PZ is a long-term thesis, not a quick-money trade.
No powerful surname?
No extraordinary connections?
No “superhuman” brain?
Then you can't afford to be financially ordinary.
I hear you, sir.
Make the stock market your friend.
The market doesn't care whether you were born rich or poor.
A rich man and a regular man can own the same shares.
Learn the market. Build your position. Let time work for you.
