Lord, I lift Jordan up to You and ask that You place Your healing hands upon him. You are the Great Physician, and there is nothing beyond Your power. Even when we can’t see what You are doing, help us hold on to faith and trust that You are still at work. Please strengthen Jordan, guide those caring for him, and watch over his little girl. Exactly. Scripture calls us to speak “the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). Jesus never compromised truth, but He showed compassion to sinners and called them to repentance. We are all sinners saved by grace, and we should never treat anyone as beyond the reach of the Gospel. As 1 Peter 3:15 says, we should be ready to give an answer “with gentleness and respect.” Truth without love is harsh, and love without truth isn't the Gospel. We need both.

You don't have to understand everything God is doing to trust Him.
Faith doesn't mean having all the answers.
Sometimes faith is simply saying:
“Lord, I don't understand—but I still trust You.”

Sometimes we ask God for a sign when He has already given us His Word. We ask for direction when He has already shown us the way. We ask for peace while holding onto the very things He is asking us to surrender.

Maybe the answer isn't that God isn't speaking. Maybe we need to slow down, open His Word, and listen. ✝️
