UK government says restoring crown stamps to pints is one of “key successes” of Brexit
But the EU says the UK could have had them before Brexit (as long as EU markings were visible)

Really interesting look at problems Brexit has caused a small firm making and selling books. We have to reverse this nonsense as soon as possible

Time is money. If it takes twice as long to do something you earn half as much. This is the brutal fact at the heart of Brexit.
Let’s "Brexit" a £12.99 paperback, blow by blow, and see what difference leaving the single market has made.
UK should move to a much softer Brexit as quickly as possible on a unilateral basis, start looking more like Norway and Switzerland, for the sake of the British people and the economy. That means not seeking to distance from EU standards.

Thank you to Gloucestershire Constabulary & Tewkesbury Academy School Staff for handling a very difficult situation decisively and with great care and consideration for all concerned
Summary: a child attacked a teacher whose serious injury required he was wheeled out to ambulance & rushed Gloucester Hospital; he's expected to recover. Pupils were locked in classrooms while Police apprehended & charged a teenage boy from the school
Today we are signing the 🇪🇺🇳🇿 free trade agreement.
An ambitious, balanced agreement that reflects our shared net-zero goals.
We are already New Zealand's 3rd biggest trade partner.
Now we could increase trade between us by 30%

The "Reform Party" were in town yesterday - Tice's Brexit Party dregs. They'd all the kit but sounded like the most tedious street preachers; no-one was listening thankfully
Just 19% of UK estuaries have good ecological status rising to 45% of coastal waters, both are rated at 0% good status for hazardous chemicals

Where are the proud custodians of the land? Shockingly only 14% of UK rivers have a good ecological status and 0% of UK rivers & lakes have good hazardous chemicals status!
This is another constitutional crisis: Govt ignoring Parliament to make authoritarian law. It's sinister controlling stuff that has no place in a modern liberal democracy
For all their sovereignty guff, the Govt just ignored Parliament to push through excessive police powers.
It's unacceptable authoritarian law. But this time if we make a peaceful orderly protest about it, like we did when Johnson illegally shut down Parliament, it's jail time
Normal Parliamentary scrutiny refused to sign off the Govt's proposed Public Order Act because it gave Police powers to arrest people on a whim. So the Govt just issued a Statutory Instrument to make it happen anyway
