UK should move to a much softer Brexit as quickly as possible on a unilateral basis, start looking more like Norway and Switzerland, for the sake of the British people and the economy. That means not seeking to distance from EU standards.

Summary: a child attacked a teacher whose serious injury required he was wheeled out to ambulance & rushed Gloucester Hospital; he's expected to recover. Pupils were locked in classrooms while Police apprehended & charged a teenage boy from the school

It's unacceptable authoritarian law. But this time if we make a peaceful orderly protest about it, like we did when Johnson illegally shut down Parliament, it's jail time

Normal Parliamentary scrutiny refused to sign off the Govt's proposed Public Order Act because it gave Police powers to arrest people on a whim. So the Govt just issued a Statutory Instrument to make it happen anyway
