Hannah Einbinder has come to the defense of Mark Ruffalo after Paramount accused him of invoking “antisemitic tropes” when criticizing the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger:
“All of us artists could stand to be more like Mark, willing to speak out for oppressed people everywhere, even when powerful people try to bully us into silence. Visibility is a responsibility. Those of us with a platform need to use our voices before speaking out is outlawed altogether.” https://t.co/4KU23JlSLR
So: naming the crime is the offense, the one who names it is the guilty, and the one who commits it stands above scrutiny: what a combination of stupidity and viciousness.
Victims are honored by making no more victims not by granting perpetrators impunity.
And @MarkRuffalo rocks!

Trump supporter, "There hasn't been a case of polio since 1960"
Journalist, "Since the vaccine"
Trump supporter, "Yeah"
So the great champion of public ownership doesn’t even have the facilities to nationalise Thames Water while it pumps billions of litres of shit into our rivers.
Turns out Andy Burnham’s politics are just vibes after all.
Absolutely pathetic.
Israeli defence minister Katz has issued a decree to execute any child flying a kite.
Don’t forget to remain silent about this!
Silence is complicity.
Silence is taking the side of the psychopaths.
Silence is taking the side of those committing genocide.

🔸 Palestinian boy destroys his kites, fearing they’ll bring Israeli bombs
Muhammad Ahmad al-Mufti, a boy in Gaza whose father was earlier killed by Israeli forces while seeking aid, tore apart the paper kites he had made himself, after hearing Israeli Defense Minister Katz might strike over the kites, Gaza Relief Committee’s Eyad Amawi told Drop Site.
Furious and in tears, he mocked the Israeli leaders he blamed as he destroyed them. “So that Netanyahu is satisfied,” he said. “So that Katz is satisfied. So that Trump is satisfied.”
Minister Katz threatened a “forceful” response to Palestinian kites landing in areas across the border, and said Israel would treat them the same as drones.
“They want to deprive us of the thing we love,” al-Mufti said, breaking down. “I swear my heart is breaking.”
For 37 years, privatised water companies have fleeced customers and poisoned our supply whilst extracting £88bn+ in dividends.
Privatisation is a scam. It is absurd that successive governments have allowed this farce to continue.
Put water into democratic public ownership, now.
Hundreds took to the streets of London today to protest a real-estate fair advertising stolen Palestinian land and homes in illegal Israeli settlements across the occupied West Bank, denouncing the event for aiding Israel's expansion of settlements.
The British government referred the 'Great Israeli Real Estate Event' for an urgent investigation after brochures and leaflets advertised properties in illegal Israeli settlements, but the UK's Advertising Standards Authority refused to investigate, saying it had not received enough evidence.
Look at her face.
She was a sun shining a light for her family inside their tent.
Israel extinguished that light forever.
The world is darker because of Israel’s evil crimes.
That’s 10-year-old Amal Abu Khater who was shot in the back and killed by Israel while she was eating.
El-Sayed: You don't want to talk about gas prices. You don't want to talk about groceries….You want to bring up all this culture war
Watters: Do you think men should play in women’s sports?
El-Sayed: I'm running for U.S. Senate. It's insane. I'm out here trying to take on the health care crisis and big pharma, and you're asking me about who gets to play what sports
