We are looking forward to another brilliant thought-provoking meeting. Are you joining us in Split this Sunday 04. June? #GlycoTime#HumanGlycome#science
Glycans are the ultimate layer of molecular complexity and the Human Glycome Project is trying to shed some light on this very complex aspect of biology. The 4th Meeting of the Human Glycome Project will start in a few days and as a preparation to this meeting we are doing some "housekeeping". One of the things we found are the recordings of the presentations from the 2nd Meeting of the Human Glycome Project that took place in Split, Croatia in June 2019, which are now published as a separate playlist at the Human Glycome Project YouTube channel https://t.co/exwsvt0MC5.
It is interesting to see a bit younger us talking about what we planned to do and compare it to what we actually did in the last four years.

In the first three hours after it was published the Human Glycome Project YouTube channel got 140 subscribers, which is quite good for a scientific channel. Let’s hope we can maintain this pace.

🔬📈 New research shows that the regulation and function of glycosylation is very protein-specific. Our team's follow-up study on two large cohorts confirms this finding. Check out our latest paper to learn more! #glycotime#genos#glycosylation

Genos is the largest high-throughput glycomics laboratory in the world. This puts us in a fantastic position to collect low hanging fruits in the field. Patent for any use of glycans for the prediction of type 2 diabetes is a fantastic example... #glycotime#glycanage#diabetes
