@RapSheet@nflnetwork A potential first-round talent; if he was considered a first-round talent, he would have entered the 2026 NFL Draft (4 years of college; 35 starts)
@MikeGarafolo@nflnetwork Things have changed, as far as gambling and the NFL is concerned; players are now legally permitted to bet on non-NFL sports (like the NBA, NHL, or MLB), provided they are on personal time and not on club property.
@BruceFeldmanCFB That's not how the supplemental draft works; you have to make the bid before the draft; you can't wait for "If the third round goes by, and then the fourth round goes by, why wouldnβt someone take him late"
@Playlikeajet1 If you are going to bid, you might as well try to win; the Jets with three 1st round picks, can afford to bid a 2nd; as long as it isn't a full year suspension, that should be no problem; if Sorsby truly has a gambling addiction, he is still allowed to bet on other sports
@Jetblazer22@JakeAsmanShow Physically, he is; the gambling issue may follow him for the rest of his career; is he mentally tough enough to handle it? that is the question
@Playlikeajet1 You're not getting him with a 4th; if you want him, you have to bid a 2nd, which the Jets, unlike most teams, can do, because they have three 1st round picks in the draft
