Still in #IsolationLife my big son and I decided to build a pinball machine out of scrap wood in the garage. Loving #STEM at home. Really wish I had brought home my #microbit kit home to add some automation and scoring to it. @LearningDevNZ job for when things go back to normal.
Put my little man to work today as we were getting bored of the games inside. Decided to make a #cornhole game. #STEM at home. Stay tuned for the finished video.
New toy. Can't wait to start testing what this machine can do, and seeing what my new group of students can come up with. @makerbot#method#STEM#MakerSpace
Had the most amazing day with our staff. Ran a PD session covering #lasercutting#3Dprinting#tinkercad#makeymakey#Spheros as a challenge. Hopefully everyone had a blast and got a few take aways to take back to class.
Tinkercad is now available as an iPad app and includes an exclusive bonus feature -- an augmented reality viewer! Learn more on the Tinkercad blog. https://t.co/DXNeQMJL7f
Completely blown away with this. As her final project, one of my year 8s created this gift for her grandfather. Made in #inkscape and cut on the #lasercutter. Not bad for only having used the lasercutter and Inkscape for 6 months. #STEM
Awesome little independent project. Year 7 student #lasercut this little game to explore characterisation based on our full study Paddington. Awesome mahi. #STEMeducation#Steam
