As bad as Week 1 was the #Giants have a chance to get their first win and be 1-1 through two weeks. No excuse for them to not win tomorrow while putting up a dominating performance. This team needs some sort of energy heading into TNF. #NYGiants
And there's Jalin Hyatt. Just about every player you hoped to see shine tonight has. A 33-yard touchdown for the rookie, who flashes his big-play ability.
Daniel Jones? Near perfect. Darren Waller? The go-to guy. Kayvon Thibodeaux? Disruptive. Jalin Hyatt? Home run hitter.
Can't imagine this night going any better for the #Giants.
Again it’s only preseason and this isn’t the competition he’s going to be seeing in the regular season but John Michael Schmitz has been awesome so far! #NYGiants
JMS and Evan Neal are expected to be cornerstone pieces to the Giants offensive line. Both need to play up to their potential if the Giants offense wants any chance of being good
#Giants doing 1-on-1 blocking drills. I think rookie center John Michael Schmitz held his own against Dexter Lawerence. JSM really looking like a good pick for Joe Schoen.
Evan Neal also had a couple real nice reps against Ojulari
So far Hawkins has really stood out in camp. Obviously the #Giants had to see something others didn’t. So far so good. Would be nice landing a good CB with our 6th round pick
As much as the #Giants liked Banks it seems they really do like Tre Hawkins III as well. The #Giants seem very high on him as well. Reminder the Giants had a top 30 visit with him. A possible Diamond in the rough? #NYGiants
Looked like #NYGiants just triple teamed Dexter Lawrence on a twist - may have been unintentional - and he still got to Daniel Jones, as did the interior rush from the other side. Just a beast. 11-on-11s.
Others guys are expected to get paid as well. Tristan Wirfs, Christain Darrisaw, Rashawn Slater and Penei Sewell will all get paid soon and I expect all to get more then Thomas. Amazing job by Schoen to lock up AT without him resetting the OT market
2025 NFL salary cap is proj to be 272 mil when AT contract kicks in his average per year salary is just under 9% or that cap. Tunsil (the highest paid LT now) is 25 per or just over 11% of 2023 cap. 11% on 272 (2025 cap) is around 30 mil. Schoens playing chess not checkers.
