@ZubyMusic You have no idea. I had people visit us in one of the nicest parts of Vancouver and they anxiously asked us if it was safe to walk back their hotel. They had seen some of this on their taxi ride over.
@BarbaraRKay I thought they tried this and it was a complete fail because (surprise!) men from other parts of the world don't like taking orders from female officers, or working with women.
@TristinHopper I came of age in that period and I have a pretty clear eyed view of how the world works - and how people work. I think you are cutting these people too much slack. I am tired of talking to intelligent people who are functionally retarded when it comes to politics.
@LizzyStarrrdust When I was young and single and had hair - a friend told me her friend confessed to having a sexual fantasy about me. I wasn't interested in her - but boy was I tickled and proud to hear that!
@ConradMBlack I worked on several political campaigns in Canada and there are always followers who are very 'intense' - particularly when they are young.
@wil_da_beast630 My daughter tried that line with me exactly once. My response was "stuff your psychology talk - you been acting like a little witch - go apologise to your mother."
The Taliban could have been held at bay if the US maintained a couple of air bases to provide air support to the Afghan army. If women in the US had demanded that Biden support Afghan women by staying there - he would have done it. But they didn't. Because western 'feminists' don't actually care about women. They care about themselves.
There were two candidate running for the Liberal Party leadership who had conservative views and were going to challenge the new Liberal socialist order (neither was white and one was a woman btw) they were both kicked out of the leadership race on trumped up rule violations. He was definitely installed.
There was a little moment of truth on CBC radio Vancouver quite a while ago when a young women being interviewed suddenly started talking about her community she said things like "they force us to marry our cousins" - she was in obvious distress - it was really sad. Of course the CBC interviewer tried hard to steer her off of this uncomfortable topic.
@feelsdesperate I get the impression that Vance and Rubio are going to keep doing what Trumps second administration has been doing - but more efficiently and with less wild tweets.
I recommend it to everyone. I've taken my family there twice. The train ride into the mountain to see the mining gear in action is amazing - but the museum part of the museum is extremely well done. I had to be dragged out of there last time - seriously. One time we had a guide who'd worked there in the summers as a teenager - which was incredible.
@TristinHopper It's like the comedian who was doing a bit mocking Covid anti-vaxxers and then passed out in the middle of it. She later admitted what happened to her was a side effect of the Covid vaccine.
@KathleenCda@cselley There is literally legislation creating conditions for a Province to leave. It is not ‘forgoing the rule of law’ for Quebec or Alberta.
It is not made up. The Liberals have deliberately catered to Muslims for their votes and have intentionally not prosecuted any of them for their anti-Semitic crimes. Jewish schools and day cares have been shot up. A mob of pro-Palestinian protesters has been marching through Jewish residential neighborhoods weekly - escorted by the police.
I have a friend who is married to a Jewish man. When Trudeau announced we were going to bring in 10,000 Palestinians - I said there is no reason Canada should do that - other countries in the region should. I also pointed out that almost all of them will want to kill her husband and children. She still thought we should bring them here. She is intelligent and educated. I simply cannot understand how women can think like this.
