The approach of the QBs was the same but that of the defenders wasn't which is why it's not the same play. Now had they both gone for the tackle and gotten flags for it then they'd be the same play.

@iJordanMoore Contradicting yourself saying it's a clean hit but he has a whole foot in bounds. Where's the other foot? How many feet need to be out for the player to be considered out of bounds and the hit to be considered late? Oh but I engaged so you win huh? Talk about soft.

@mlb_statbat @GMGoBetting If the defender was going full speed parallel to the sideline then it's on Hurts to go out of bounds quick enough or get ran over. The defender was heading out of bounds for that hit no matter what. Hurts stepped out and the defender followed him out of bounds and hit him late.
