Fernando Mendoza telling the world in the postgame interview that Miami declined him the opportunity to be a walk-on makes this championship for Indiana even more memorable. What a game and what a season for Indiana.
It's unfortunate but for years to come when you hear "Tulane and James Madison" the only thing people will think of are their blowout losses to Ole Miss and Oregon. None of their wins will be remembered.

BREAKING: Multiple sources tell me that Head football coach Brennan Marion has informed his staff that he is leaving Sacramento State to join the University of Colorado. Sac State went 7-5 in their only season with Marion.
You can evaluate a QB's arm strength, accuracy, athletic ability, etc but sometimes it just comes down to having a feel for the position. Can he feel pressure from the blind side, escape, and make a play downfield? Julian Lewis just has "it" and he's only a true frosh. 2026 ๐ฆฌโซ
I understand refs getting a call wrong in real time but when you spend 2 minutes on a replay review and STILL get the call wrong, that's a problem. I saw this happen to Colorado, Texas Tech, and Florida this week and it's been happening all season around CFB. Just ridiculous.
@BuffsNewsWeekly Colorado has no minimum standards in place. We saw it under Embree, saw it under Dorrell, and now you're seeing it with this staff. Serious football programs don't tolerate this garbage.
Last week at halftime: Utah 43, Colorado 0
This week at halftime: Arizona 38, Colorado 7
Other programs would fire staff members before coming out of the tunnel for the 3rd Q. LSU would probably take them to jail.
There is no defending this effort from the Buffs tonight. Colorado showed up unprepared - AGAIN. Losing 31-7 at home in the 2nd Q to Arizona? This is like the Jon Embree and Karl Dorrell days but those teams didn't have this year's talent. Total embarrassment.
Last week: Colorado trailed 43-0 at halftime at Utah.
This week: Colorado trails 17-0 in the 1st Q to Arizona at home.
You can blame the coaches, you can blame the players, either way, this is pathetic and unacceptable. Huge changes need to be made.
Matt McChesney cares more about CU Football than the players do and that's why we saw the Utah result. Every coach and player should be forced to watch this episode. It's the most raw and real episode Matt's ever done.
