In Yei, South Sudan, we trained a committed group of Community Peace Ambassadors...
They have been equipped with practical skills and knowledge to promote peaceful coexistence, prevent conflict, and strengthen unity within their communities. #GoCDC
We conducted a training in Yei South Sudan on PSEA and Harassment for our SPEED partner Staff and local structure representatives.
The training focused on prevention, reporting, and promoting zero tolerance for abuse, while strengthening accountability and safeguarding systems.

Real change starts with awareness. Our team has been conducting Gender & PSEA sessions in a number of locations, we were in Lobule Sub-County, where local leaders are committing to safer, more inclusive communities. @ADCinUganda
Building peace from the ground up ποΈ
We trained 10 Community Peace Ambassadors from Yumbe & Koboko, equipping them with tools to promote harmony, prevent conflict, and foster unity.
We started our Gender Equality and PSEA sessions for local community structures in Yumbe, Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement. These sessions aim to strengthen understanding of gender dynamics, promote inclusion, and reinforce zero tolerance for exploitation and abuse.
We have successfully completed the Gender Equality and PSEA sessions in Lokujo - Lobule Sub-County, Koboko District, equipping local structures to promote equity, safeguard vulnerable communities, prevent abuse, and build trust.

In Yei, @GoCDC is once again opening up farmland for a new season. Last year, we produced tons of maize π½.
This year, weβre expanding, introducing more crop varieties.
