Cabrini Volleyball - 2019 LHSAA Division III Volleyball State Champions

The Cabrini Cross Country team finished the District 11-AAAA Championship Meet as the 2019 District Runner-Up. Pierra Charles ‘20 was the Individual Champion. Other Cabrini Top 10 Finishers were Sydnie Newton ‘20 (4th), Avia Wright ‘23 (8th), and Lauren Goens ‘21 (10th).

The 2019 Cabrini Volleyball team won their fourth district championship in a row and finished the past three years as Undefeated District Champions. The Crescents won the district championship this evening with a victory over Haynes Academy in three straight sets.

Jailen Doyle ‘19 was named the 2019 District 10-AAAA Girls Field MVP and the 2019 District 10-AAAA Girls Overall MVP. Jailen is the 2019 District 10-AAAA Champion of the Discus, Javelin, and Shot Put events. Congratulations Jailen!

The 2019 Cabrini Softball Team is the Undefeated District 10-4A Champions. The Crescents defeated McDonogh 35 this evening by a score of 15-0 to finish district play with a perfect 6-0 record. Congratulations Crescents!

The Cabrini Basketball Team advances to the Quarterfinal round of the 2019 LHSAA Division II Basketball Playoffs by winning tonight against Haynes Academy by a score of 52-35. The Crescents will travel to Lake Charles on Thursday to take on St. Louis in the Quarterfinals.

Madisyn Acosta ‘19 finished her cross country career at Cabrini High School with a 7th Place All-State Individual Finish in Class 4A. In the freezing temperatures and the muddy course, Madisyn still ran this 3 mile race in 23 minutes and 39 seconds. Congratulations Madisyn!
