Use your car for work? GOFAR is the easiest way to log work trips... so you can claim your max legitimate deduction at tax time.

@marlyn10989940 If you're using your car for work purposes (and commuting doesn't count) then the ATO lets you claim back $0.88 for each work KM. You just need to keep records of the trips and your vehicle costs. You can do both with GOFAR. Hope that helps
If you use your car for work, you could be leaving money on the road.
With GOFAR you can:
Automatically track work trips. Scan and log your fuel receipts. Automate your ATO logbook. Claim the maximum tax deduction.
@NigelIrwin58430 Probably also worth mentioning that the ATO requires you to have evidence of work driving but they only ask you to upload your total costs and total business %. No one sends the ATO their driving history in a tax return.
@NigelIrwin58430 Hi Nigel
It does log drives. It doesn't need to log locations if that's what concerns you. Customers can turn off location tracking in the app. The device itself does not have GPS because we designed it to be private for those who want that.
If you drive a lot you may want to consider an automated logging device, like GOFAR, as these typically do not miss trips, nor record phantom "passenger trips" and are kinder to your phone battery.
However if you're disciplined about keeping the app running and cleaning out the phantom passenger trips then apps can be fine and Driversnote is fine.
@excess_sarcasm 3. Apps get shut down by the phone operating system (often weekly), meaning no trips are recorded until you notice and reopen the app.
This happens to GOFAR too but when our app is shut down all the trips just record to the device so you don't miss anything deductions.
@andysayshi1 I'm just glad this one only has 10 fingers. You should have seen AI generated dog walkers 18 months ago - I'll never get that image out my head
