Get ready ... a traffic shift is coming soon to northbound S.R. 9A/I-95 to the general purpose lanes. Here’s what crews have been working on to make it happen:

* New asphalt now in place
* NW 151 Street exit ramp reconstruction underway
* New bridge built over NW 151 Street
* New bridges over the Biscayne Canal

This shift will open the area for crews to move into the center section and keep progress moving. Stay tuned for what’s next.

New ramp progress you can see from above. Crews recently installed three sets of bridge beams during overnight closures along I-95 as part of the new connection from NW 167 Street to S.R. 7/U.S. 441/NW 2 Avenue. This work requires full closures to safely place massive beams over the roadway. What this means for you:
