But don’t get it confused, this is not luck, there’s no horseshoes being hung.
Duke Shelley flashing in the box as a tackler again. Super aggressive getting downhill.
Coverage wise? Not sure yet. Had that miscommunication with Vilder on Thielen's TD.
It's a cliche, but it's true: It's next man up for the Bears secondary today, with Kindle Vildor expected to start at cornerback in place of Jaylon Johnson (shoulder) and Duke Shelley filling in at nickel back for Buster Skrine (concussion) for the second straight game.
Maybe Chuck Pagano is a Hamilton fan because he described Bears cornerbacks Duke Shelley and Kindle Vildor as young, hungry and scrappy.
Technically he went out of order from the lyrics, but still, he doesn’t think they’re throwin’ away their shot.
That's a good question. I think it actually may be second-year pro Duke Shelley, a 2019 sixth-round pick from Kansas State. Or possibly DeAndre Houston-Carson or Sherrick McManis. Buster Skrine (concussion) is a big loss; he may be the surest tackler on the #Bears defense.
