I talked to @Fidelity today, the intake rep, after speaking with another person in the IPO department who said Fidelity could not discuss anything with me until after the IPO.

I repeated what was relayed to me to a second person while moving funds between accounts for something else and asked if I needed to switch brokerages because of this. He said I would have no problem qualifying for eligibility, including in my retirement and 401k accounts.

I can’t tell if people are lying or if the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing.
