1 Timothy 2:11-12
“Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.
And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man,
but to be in silence.”
“I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands,
without wrath and doubting;
in like manner also,
that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but,
“For there is one God and
one Mediator
between God and men,
the Man Christ Jesus,
who gave Himself a ransom for all,
to be testified in due time,”
I Timothy 2:5-6
John 9:35-38
“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him,
He (Jesus)said to him,
“Do you believe in the Son of God?”
He answered and said,
“Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?”
“But you, beloved,
building yourselves up on your most holy faith,
praying in the Holy Spirit,
keep yourselves in the love of God,
looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”
Jude 1:20-21
“And they made a calf in those days,
offered sacrifices to the idol,
and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
Then God turned and gave them up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the Prophets:
and with our fathers,
the one who received the living oracles to give to us, whom our fathers would not obey,
but rejected.
And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt,”
Acts 7:37-39
“This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel,
'The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren.
Him you shall hear.’
This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai,
My Father, who has given them to Me,
is greater than all;
and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.
I and My Father are one.””
John 10:24-30
“Then the Jews surrounded Him (Jesus) and said to Him,
"How long do You keep us in doubt?
If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
Jesus answered them,
“I told you, and you do not believe.
The works that I do in My Father’s name,
they bear witness of Me.
But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
And I give them eternal life,
and they shall never perish;
neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
And other sheep I have which are not of this fold;
them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice;
and there will be one flock and one shepherd.”
John 10:11-16
“I (Jesus) am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd,
one who does not own the sheep,
sees the wolf coming
and leaves the sheep
and flees;
and the wolf catches the sheep
and scatters them
The hireling flees because he is a hireling
and does not care about the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
and I know My sheep,
and am known by My own.
As the Father knows Me,
even so I know the Father;
and I lay down My life for the sheep.
