LSE performed excellent at the 2A regionals in Colorado Springs Thursday evening!
Kidus Begashaw won the boys race and punched his ticket to states 10/17.
Nabil Hassan placed 5th, Layla Haji 12th and qualified for states as well

Congrats to Kidus Begashaw on his 9th place finish at the National Desert Twilight XC invitational in Arizona last Friday night!
He finished with a time of 15:28.6! His fastest time ever! This is another Lotus 1st! And best time ever recorded at LSE!!

XC was back in action again at the stampede invitational (Pre-State event) on Saturday.
Senior Kidus Begashaw won yet again wit a time of 16:54!
Sr Layla Haji recorded a PR with a time of 22:59 and finishing in the top 10!

“These 4 MS Robotics students (Jullian, Samuel, Halen and Haiden) built a crank and slider mechanism in Automation & Robotics class last week. Rather than controlling the mechanism manually, the students motorized it. Way to go!
