@HammerPike@M_Vernon If I remember correctly, Kansas had a long home game winning streak going during the 1987-88 season. They lost three games at home that year to Duke, K State and Oklahoma. KU defeated KSU in the regional final, Duke in the final 4 and OU in the championship game.
Duke is so ahead of the curve — whether it’s hiring on a general manager, NIL funds, or this multiyear deal with Amazon — you have to give Nina King and Jon Scheyer & Co. their flowers.
Constantly trying to put the program in the best position to win. Love it.
Amazon is going to pay Duke players to promote their games as a NIL fee….basically paying the players to do advertisements and since the market is global, they can pay a lot of money
That’s actually brilliant and why their Basketball Ops person is the best in the country
@Dukeblogger Great points. When all is said and done I think Kentucky dodged a bullet. I think KU is in for DP part two drama!!!
On another topic Duke/UCONN in Vegas next year!!! You going?
Wins fade. Relationships don’t.
Brad Underwood gets it. 🔥
“25 years from now, I want them to pick up the phone and call me because they need me.”
Coach accordingly.
Nebraska putting 4 players on the court. Duke’s last 10 seconds up 2. Florida helping and giving up the 3.
Just a reminder the next time you’re at a high school game: mental mistakes happen at EVERY level.
And screaming at 15-18 year olds from the stands isn’t changing that.
