1) If they are technical/blockchain focused, but just not a gamer, show them what Glyph wallet +OS is doing with digital assets. The seamless gameplay and nft rewards on ape are impressive. Your kodas/apes (or a bunch of other nfts) become a seamless avatar in a real 3D world, you get NFT rewards just for playing... Delegation of assets (e.g. shadows) from cold wallet to use as avatars enables secure use of digital assets. It's taking proof of concept to reality to show how you can have a self-custody, p2p economy in a virtual 3d space at scale.
2) If a collector of any kind, tell them to imagine if every card, collectible, or skin could be held digitally, traded with other collectors in a 3d world, and you could hang and meet other collectors just by walking around...It gives a collection its own hangout spot instead of just sitting in a wallet or display case. I have a collection of 90s basketball cards I pull out like twice a year to show someone who's mildly interested lol... in os, stuff isn't collecting dust because it's actually part of the adventure.
3) If artistic, pitch the huge plans for planning to build on deeds and trading in native digital. Daniel Arsham's Voyager collab is a perfect example...not just static NFTs, they are evolving avatars that change through quests and are real artistic storytelling inside the world. I’m still wrapping my head around all the possibilities for creators, but it’s clear this is opening up a whole new canvas for digital-native art at scale.
4) If full normie, I would just pitch it as the ultimate virtual club. You show up, chill in a massive 3D world, trade or collect digital stuff on the fly, meet other real people (who also collect stuff), and jump into whatever vibe is popping that day. No hardcore gaming required, it's more like a persistent online lounge where your stuff actually lives and you can hang with the community IRL-style but from your couch. If they still don't bite after that... yeah, might be a tough sell, but at least it sounds fun instead of complicated.
