Extremely excited to receive an offer from the University of Dubuque! Thank you to @CoachZohlmann and the rest of the coaching staff for the opportunity and recognizing my hard work on and off the field.
Seniors: Early Signing Day is December 2nd. Final Signing Day is February 3rd.
Most D1 programs are essentially done recruiting the Class of 2027. If you don’t have a D1 offer or consistent D1 contact, it’s time to shift your focus.
The goal is still the same: PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL.
D2, D3, NAIA & JUCO opportunities are still out there. Go where you’re wanted.
Who wins recruiting battles against the Ivy League?
One might guess:
• The Patriot League (Great academics + scholarships)
• Service Academies (Army, Navy, Air Force)
• Small FBS programs ("Better" football, more exposure, etc)
WRONG
I went through 1,024 recruits in the classes of 2026 & 2027
Here's the short version of my findings:
• Ivies win 76% of recruiting battles against the Patriot League
• Ivies win 60% of recruiting battles vs MAC programs
• Ivies win 59% of battles vs service academies
The Ivy League also wins versus the Sun Belt and Conference USA
Big picture: Who wins depends heavily on the school...
Harvard wins 78% of recruiting battles against Patriot League, MAC, and academies COMBINED
6 of the other 7 ivies win less than 50%
