Check out our new packet analysis tool. Passive asset discovery, network mapping, and traffic analysis. No setup, databases, or install. Get started for free. #OTSecurity#NetworkSecurity#DFIR#SysAdmin
#cybersecurity is an economic game theory problem.
The attackers to expending minimal resources can impose huge costs on defenders. Structural problems can't be solved by point solutions.
Awesome to see this kind of pretty #UX in an industry traditionally associated with whiteboards, terminals and pricey enterprise software. Also, built with #webgl / @threejs π
@wrccdc@MidAtlanticCCDC@NationalCCDC We just made a live network topology demo based on 100MB of the 2019 WRCCDC packet captures.
100% passive and automated!

@michael_eder_@jeffmcjunkin@Cyberspatial_HQ@runZeroInc Big assumption is that active scans will find everything. They won't. Being able to combine passive and active approach is really valuable for getting that ground truth.
We want to provide a central place to collaborate and analyze your data (enriching PCAP, scans, etc.)
@michael_eder_@jeffmcjunkin@Cyberspatial_HQ@runZeroInc Do you find most places are okay getting scanned? I've been in a lot of environments that are resistant towards installing stuff or scanning, hence the passive approach.
@michael_eder_@jeffmcjunkin@Cyberspatial_HQ@runZeroInc Our approach is to make the capability so accessible for anyone that your clients will be able to process their own data themselves and share the resulting project with you.
Imagine consulting at a place and the IT guy actually has a complete, up-to-date map...
@michael_eder_@jeffmcjunkin@Cyberspatial_HQ@runZeroInc What would be more feasible?
Maintaining different versions of the software for different operating systems is also much more difficult than providing it as a SaaS. There's also proprietary software we can't distribute and users would have to download TBs of various databases.
@CyberRoFlo@Cyberspatial_HQ We've been operating in stealth on this product.
Early beta access for paid users is now available!
Open to answering any questions!
I'm excited for the @Cyberspatial_HQ Teleseer product, which has a demo video out now: https://t.co/bSf4516Pof
It's paid but reasonable for orgs: https://t.co/t9bvsbn00N
Between this and @runZeroInc you can a ground-truth understanding of your org.
(I have no relationship)
What happens if the threat actor is on-prem?
Or an attacker exploits an existing firewall vulnerability?
Or the malicious activity comes from an insider threat?
What organizations really need is visibility into their network.
You NEED to SEE what's going on!
They can easily be misconfigured, not encompass a whole network, or have terrible ACLs rules. Even if your wizard-level IT department sets up the best defense, it's easy to fall into a false sense of security.
