@adarraghbills@adampensel Exactly right on the “grade over expectation”. Absolutely meaningless. If they are that effective when not being doubled, why is their double team rate so low?
@WGR550 Wait - the philosophy is to draft and develop, but in all that time they’ve failed to draft/develop a single guy as good as Verse despite the Rams having only 1 first round pick since 2016? Sounds like the “develop” isn’t really working out so much.
@BillsMafiATL Joe Brady’s play calling in overtime against Denver was right up there. 3 first downs - 3 runs - 3 total yards. Josh had to overcome 3rd and 5, 3rd and 7, 3rd and 11.
@ChrisTrapasso@BuffRumblings@agetzenberg The trade value for him is so low that there’s no point in getting rid of him. His cap hit is low so viewing him as your #5 receiver is fine. There’s virtually no money to be saved by trading him so why not keep him around. If he becomes a locker room problem, you can revisit.
@WGR550 The pick still makes very little sense. 2nd round is way too high for a depth spot - especially when your top 2 guys are expected to be around for years. Linebacker, safety and guard are just as thin and have starters in shorter timelines.
@VladiDadi18@TFlantastik@realdanmitchell I hear you on McD not playing rookies, but then Beane went and drafted the same type of players again this year. Slow, non-bendy pass rushers and undersized d-linemen.
