I came across a comment on a post claiming that all I do is share fully funded opportunities just to gain followers, boost engagement, and rage-bait, then asking which one I have ever personally benefited from.
Omo, I howled. 😂
Where should I even start from? The list of fully funded opportunities I have personally benefited from over the years is actually quite long.
The reason I keep sharing them is simple: I know what access to the right information can do. If all I can do is reduce the information gap and make the path a little easier for someone else, then every post is worth it. Opportunity changed my life, and I believe it can change someone else's too.
my little social app just crossed 2M users and $2M ARR 🥹🎉
still no employees/cofounders + 100% bootstrapped
some days this still doesnt feel real
2 years ago nomadtable was just an idea i wrote in my notes app on my solo trip
now it’s the go to way that solo travelers connect
somehow i turned this crazy dream into a reality. you can really do anything you want if you’re passionate enough
International students contribute nearly $43 billion to the U.S. economy every year and support hundreds of thousands of American jobs.
Now the federal government wants to insert itself even deeper into higher education by replacing Duration of Status with a fixed admission period and requiring many students to seek USCIS approval just to continue their studies.
Whatever happened to less government?
Had this policy existed decades ago, there’s a good chance Elon Musk’s path to building companies in America would have looked very different, dare I say it NON existent.
The rule is slated to take effect in mid-September, with a temporary six-month transition that waives the need to file a separate Extension of Stay request alongside certain OPT applications. After that, the new bureaucracy becomes the norm.

🚨 If you’re an African student or an international student in the U.S., you need to pay attention to this.
The U.S. government has finalized one of the biggest changes to the F-1 student visa system in years.
❌ The “Duration of Status (D/S)” rule is ending.
Instead of remaining in the U.S. for as long as you maintain your student status, most F-1 students will now receive a fixed period of stay (generally up to 4 years).
Here’s what this could mean:
📌 If your PhD, OPT, or STEM OPT goes beyond your authorized stay, you’ll likely need to file for an Extension of Stay with USCIS, pay additional fees, and wait for approval.
📌 The grace period after completing your program is expected to be reduced from 60 days to 30 days.
📌 Students in graduate programs may face tighter restrictions on changing majors or transferring schools.
⚠️ One important scenario:
If you’re already in the U.S. and maintaining valid F-1 status, the transition is generally expected to be smoother.
But if you leave the U.S. after the new rule takes effect and return, you may be admitted under the new fixed-date system. That means you’ll be subject to the new expiration date on your I-94 and the new rules going forward.
🗓️ The rule is expected to take effect around September 15, 2026.
This is a major policy change that every current and future international student should understand.

#KurtOkrakuOut Kurt Okraku, for the love of Ghana, please step down. We say this with respect and out of concern for the future of our football. Sometimes, the best way to serve is to make room for a new direction. #KurtOkrakuOut
Please, it’s okay. Put Ghana first.
