@EliMcCann My mom was definitely the baby whisperer with all the grandkids. Youngest of them all is 5 now so she’ll have to wait for great-grandkids next. (Oldest is 21.)
@clhubes Haha I first read this as you haven’t been getting any of your work work done. I’m so outside the realm of all that, so it didn’t register even after you mentioned Botox, I was still trying to connect it in my brain to productivity.
Let 'em make fun of "breathe & talk yourself through this" if they must. "They" don't have to handle the triggers kicking your ass. YOU do, & you need somewhere to start-- & in my experience, "breathe & talk yourself through this" is where ALL successful coping strategies start.
@emilykmay Ok I first thought someone else was quote tweeting you and I was indignant, thinking That is SO mean! Then, I saw it was you and you can make any jokes you want.
@JeremyWingert79 I am the oldest of 4, my mom was 1 of 5 and my dad was 1 of 7 so I always thought I would have a bigger family too but both of our kids were surprise pregnancies, born only 14 months apart, and I felt stretched so thin, I don’t know how people do it.
@KelseyMLoo I have Instagram but I’ve never gotten into it. Other than occasionally checking my daughter’s photos since she posts there regularly. But I’ll look you up there.
@RickTheule Ah I see you can’t leave this place either. I peruse the other two recently popular places but can’t get traction. Not that I post here I mostly scroll.
Don’t worry about being perfect, focus on getting started & you’ll figure it out as you go. 5 years from now you’ll look back at the seeds you planted today & be grateful fear didn’t stop you.
@JeremyWingert79 I haven’t been able to give it up. But so many people who I interacted with for a number of years are gone - some lost through algorithm changes others who left the site. But I loved my curated feed - I mostly didn’t even encounter the troll side. It was wonderful community.
