I take this opportunity to congratulate @mkainerugaba on the newly announced Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Central Committee appointments.

I also extend my congratulations to the incoming team and commend the outgoing colleagues for a job well done. As our Chairman, Gen. MK, noted, the outgoing team “achieved what we set out for.”

To the new Central Committee: I urge you to maintain focus on service delivery and grassroots mobilisation, in alignment with the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).

Our Chairman has outlined an ambitious economic vision tied to the movement’s political agenda — with PLU tasked to help achieve a $500 billion GDP target by 2031. Indeed, our role is to work hand in hand with H.E. President Yoweri Museveni and the NRM to realize this goal. You, the new Central Committee, will be at the forefront.
