'The European Settlement Boat Ride' has started on February 14 at the initiative of the Dept of Transport, GoWB. It enables passengers to enjoy a pleasant 11hour journey from Millennium Park every Saturday-Sunday for only Rs. 350. The journey will start at 10 am & end at 9 pm.

পঃবঃ পরিবহন দপ্তরের উদ্যোগে ১৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে শুরু হয়েছে 'ইউরোপিয়ান সেটেলমেন্ট বোট রাইড' যা মিলেনিয়াম পার্ক থেকে প্রতি শনি-রবিবার মাত্র ৩৫০ টাকায় ১১ ঘন্টার মনোরম যাত্রা উপভোগ করার সুযোগ দিচ্ছে যাত্রীদের। সকাল ১০টায় এই যাত্রা শুরু হবে এবং শেষ হবে রাত ৯টায়।

আজ দুপুর ২টোয়, নেতাজি ইন্ডোর স্টেডিয়াম থেকে মাননীয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রী যাত্রী স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যের কথা মাথায় রেখে চার জেলায় চারটি নতুন বাস টার্মিনাসের শুভ উদ্বোধন এবং অন্য দুই জেলার বাস টার্মিনাসের শিলান্যাস করবেন।

In collaboration with the WBTC, the app 'West Bengal Transport Corporation-Version 1.0' will aid the passengers to book tickets of recreational and long-distance air-conditioned buses on public transport. Special tram and ferry tickets can also be booked by this app.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পরিবহন নিগমের সহযোগিতায় এখন থেকে গণপরিবহনে বিনোদনমূলক এবং দূরপাল্লার বাতানুকূল বাসের যাত্রীরা ‘ওয়েস্ট বেঙ্গল ট্রান্সপোর্ট কর্পোরেশন-ভার্সন ১.০’ নামের অ্যাপ থেকেই টিকিট কাটতে পারবেন। এছাড়াও বিশেষ ট্রাম এবং জলযান ভ্রমণেরও টিকিট কাটা যাবে।

From January 21, the people of the state are going to get travel and tram passes for 100 rupees in collaboration with the WBTC. Travel Pass will be valid on WBTC's bus-tram-ferry and tram pass on any of the traditional trams in Kolkata within that day.

আগামী ২১ জানুয়ারি থেকে পঃবঃ পরিবহন নিগমের সহযোগিতায় রাজ্যবাসী পেতে চলেছেন ১০০ টাকার বিনিময়ে ট্রাভেল এবং ট্রাম পাস। ট্রাভেল পাসের মাধ্যমে পঃবঃ পরিবহন নিগমের বৈধ বাস-ট্রাম-লঞ্চে এবং ট্রাম পাসের মাধ্যমে কলকাতার ঐতিহ্যবাহী যে কোনো ট্রামে সেইদিনে যাতায়াত করা‌ যাবে।

The newly developed Sarsuna Swami Vivekananda Bus Terminus is going to be inaugurated in Behala on 12th January, 11.30 AM in the presence of Hon'ble Minister Partha Chatterjee and at the initiative of West Bengal Transport Department.

The Department of Transport of West Bengal has taken the initiative to provide free WiFi in a number of AC trams, starting from January 1st. The idea behind providing this service is to encourage the youth and tech-savvy to use this mode of transport.

With the inspiration from Hon'ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Arup Biswas, Hon'ble Minister, will be inaugurating two new bus routes from Tollygunge Kundghat Bus terminus to Digha and Dakshineshwar. This daily bus service will be operated by WBTC.
