What a great act of sportsmanship from our district! I couldn’t be more proud of our boys! They competed well, and we have plenty going on to the area meet! 🌪🌪🌪💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
#ThoughtForTheDay A teacher shared a great reminder with me yesterday; that all kids need two things - to be praised and to be polished. Some just need more of our time, attention and love. Bring the polish every day. #Culturize
#ThoughtForTheDay Reflection is necessary for personal growth. When we are willing to revisit our decisions, look at our behavior, & see who we are, then we are well on our way to becoming the person we want to be. #LiveYourExcellence
#ThoughtForTheDay Each day is a reminder that most of what the day brings is still up to us. There will always be exceptions, but regardless, we get to choose what we want our days to look like. Make it a great day!
#ThoughtForTheDay Identify one student that is struggling & then commit to being a part of their success story this school year. At the end of the year when you look back you will realize they took a struggling educator in and became part of your success story. #Culturize
On July 23rd Floydada ISD received approval from TEA for our designation as a Collgiate District and Campus. Today, 77% of our high school students are enrolled in dual credit courses this fall. I am excited for our students and proud of our District.
We’re never too important (or too busy!) to be nice to people. As teachers and administrators, our days may be full to the brim, but I assure you—there’s always time to be kind. #edchat
#ThoughtForTheDay A positive school culture begins by each one of us infusing a sense of pride into everything we do. It begins with us. #LiveYourExcellence
The stories we tell ourselves matter. The words we use when we talk to ourselves matter. Believe in yourself, think positively, and watch how the world around you changes for the better. #edchat
No matter what is going on in the world, we always have a chance to better ourselves. As we start a new week, I want you think of an answer to just one question: “What can I be doing to grow right now?” #edchat
