@j_divis For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." Romans 1:16
Most Christians can’t answer this question:
Jesus told the Jews: "Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice" (John 10:16).
Not of this fold. Not Israel.
So who are the other sheep, where did He visit them, and what did they write about it?
If your answer is "nobody," you must explain what Jesus meant.
@j_divis For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy.
Romans 15:8-9
You guys unfortunately have this all backwards
@j_divis Youre making the assertion. You're not demonstrating that the other sleeper were remnants of the house of Isreal.
Jesus was coming to the Jews first and after that the gospel would be taken to the gentiles. 1/2
@BuildngZion Jesus said to her “Woman, believe me the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. John 4:21
The mountain was where the temple was. Jesus pointing to the end of the old covenant and the beginning of the new where we are the temple
@BuildngZion You seem to be failing to understand how the temple is part of the old covenant system. So when you do away with the old covenant system Hebrews talks about, youre also doing away with physical temples. Combined with the apostles teaching that we are now the temple of God. 1/2
@DanielProudfoot Thats quite a lot for a little phrase like that. Lol almost like someone was trying to make it sound like the kjv bible and got carried away
@BuildngZion Nope you still don't understand lol physical temples were directly part of the old covenant system which was done away with because the fulfillment had come. The old covenant was no more. The fulfillment of the temple shadow was in the church as a people and their bodies.
@BuildngZion You’re not understanding. The temple system was inseparable from the old covenant. Hebrews 9–10 shows it was a temporary shadow fulfilled and ended by Christ. The torn veil and “believers as God’s temple” mark that shift not room for ongoing physical temples.
@BuildngZion The OT temple system was about sacrifices & the old covenant fulfilled and ended in Christ Hebrews 9–10. The veil was torn Matt 27:51. Believers themselves are now God’s temple 1 Cor 3:16. Apostles used the Jerusalem temple before it was destroyed in AD 70. It was what they knew
@BuildngZion Just because prayer, teaching, and worship sometimes happened in the temple while it still stood does not mean God intends physical temples to continue....

@BuildngZion I already showed you. I have a character limitation here as well. You made a claim that the temple was more than what I mentioned so show me how it was like the lds temple
@BuildngZion The temple was for priests to go in and make sacrifices on behalf of their people and that was a type and shadow pointing to Christ. Christ is the ultimate high priest in heaven who gave the sacrifice for his people in heaven. No more need for physical temples..
