Blast will be shutting down.
We launched Blast with the goal of building a self-sustaining chain for users and developers. Unfortunately, the economics of operating the chain no longer make sense: the ongoing costs of maintaining Blast exceed the revenue generated by the L2, and we do not see a credible path to making the chain economically sustainable.
As a result, we've made the difficult decision to wind Blast down.
We're sorry to the users and developers who believed in Blast, built on it, and supported the ecosystem. Our priority now is making the shutdown as smooth and safe as possible.
We're asking all users to withdraw their assets from Blast to Ethereum mainnet, including any balances held in the Blast PWA.
To make this easier, we will be reducing the withdrawal delay to 24 hours.
As part of the shutdown process, we'll first begin withdrawing Blast's Lido assets. This process is expected to take approximately one week. During this period, withdrawals will temporarily be unavailable, even after the withdrawal delay is reduced to 24 hours.
Once that process is complete, withdrawals will resume with the new 24-hour delay.
Users will have until October 26, 2026 to withdraw through the normal Blast interface.
After October 26, assets will remain withdrawable, but users will need to interact directly with the Blast bridge contracts on Ethereum L1. We'll publish detailed instructions before then.
We strongly encourage everyone to withdraw their assets to Ethereum mainnet before October 26.
SBC Lisbon was amazing.
Great conversations, great people, and a lot of excitement around what we’re building at Slotty Labs.
Huge thanks to everyone we met over the last few days. This feels like just the beginning.
See you at the next one.
[SECURITY NOTICE] Bitget Hot Wallet Incident — September 24, 2026
At 18:31 UTC on September 24, 2026, Bitget's security systems detected unauthorized transfers from some of our hot wallets. Our security team activated emergency response protocols immediately.
What we have confirmed:
-Estimated funds affected: approximately $351.6 million
-Cold wallets remain fully secure. Bitget operates a three-tier wallet architecture — the breach contained only a portion of the hot wallet and warm wallet layers.
-User funds are safe. The full amount of this loss falls within the coverage of Bitget's User Protection Fund, which currently holds over $464 million
Actions we have taken:
-Emergency response team activated within minutes of detection
-Abnormal transfer addresses identified, flagged, and reported
-Withdrawals temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure, pending security review
-Law enforcement and on-chain security firms have been formally notified and are engaged
What this means for you:
-Your account balances are accurate and your assets are protected
-Deposits and trading remain fully operational
Withdrawals are temporarily paused and will be restored as soon as the security review is complete
-What comes next: We will provide updates on an hourly basis across this channel and all official platforms. A full incident report — including root cause analysis and corrective actions — will be published within 24 hours. We will not speculate on the attack vector until the investigation is complete.
Bitget has navigated multiple market cycles. We will not run from this. Every dollar and every decision will be accounted for, transparently and in full.
Updates will be posted here and across all official Bitget channels as they become available.

Studio Blockchain Slotty Labs and are heading to SBC Lisbon 🇵🇹
From 29 September to 1 October, we’ll be in Lisbon meeting operators, aggregators, platforms and everyone building the next generation of iGaming.
Studio Blockchain is bringing high-speed blockchain infrastructure built for real casino operations, from payments and settlement to seamless on-chain integrations.
Slotty Labs is bringing a fresh take on casino content with arcade-style games designed to feel different from the usual slot catalogue.
Two products, one goal: make iGaming faster, more engaging and easier to operate.
See you in Lisbon.
Claude Opus 5.5 is a talker. GPT-6 Sol is the introvert.
On the 3 reasoning tasks both completed, they scored exactly the same: 92, 100, 96.
But Opus used 22,205 words to get there.
Sol used 3,806.
Almost 6x less output for the same scores, and roughly $0.24 vs $4.44 at list prices.
But it’s not as simple as “shorter is better”.
Opus also solved a coding task Sol failed in all 3 sweeps, plus a full-stack tool-use task Sol didn’t finish.
So far, Sol looks much more efficient when both models know the answer. Opus talks a lot more, but sometimes that extra effort seems to help at the edge.
One day of data, not a conclusion.
But definitely something worth watching.

Claude Opus 5.5 has been added to AiStupidLevel and is now included in drift detection
You’ll see it listed immediately, but scores won’t populate until the next benchmark pass begins. Once that run kicks off, results will update automatically alongside other models.
On July 25, we hacked OpenAI.
Two bugs let us take over ChatGPT/Codex accounts of OpenAI employees (+some unaffiliated users) and reach connected services: Outlook, Slack, GitHub, etc.
We proved it with a PR in OpenAI’s internal codebase . It took us <72h. 🧵
One endpoint. The best model for every task.
@AIStupidlevel continuously benchmarks models across coding, reasoning, cost and reliability, then our Smart Router uses those results to route each request to the model that fits the goal best.
Developers keep a single API endpoint while the intelligence behind it keeps adapting as model performance changes.
This is the direction we believe AI infrastructure is heading.
Today we are announcing that S&P Global has entered an agreement to acquire OpenZeppelin.
Onchain finance is growing from an emerging market into core financial infrastructure, and the standards and rails our team and community built are becoming the rails of global finance. OpenZeppelin smart contracts facilitated over $37 trillion in value transferred, with the vast majority of the largest DeFi protocols, blockchain networks, stablecoins and tokenized funds relying on them.
With S&P Global, we expect to accelerate the impact of onchain finance, backed by more than a century of trust in global markets, benchmarks, and risk frameworks.
To our clients and to all the users of OpenZeppelin open source tools:
• OpenZeppelin Contracts and all our open source applications and tools remain open source, free, and publicly maintained on GitHub. Building open source standards stays a core priority.
• Audits, engineering work, and ecosystem programs continue with the same team, brand, quality, and customer experience, with what will be the added benefit of S&P Global's research capacity, market data, and institutional reach.
For the last decade, OpenZeppelin has set the security standard for onchain finance. Today begins a new chapter for that mission, together with one of the most trusted names in global markets.

We check every AI model for drift every hour.
Coding, reasoning, tool-calling | benchmarked continuously, then routed to whichever model is best right now, on your own API key.

AI Stupid Level is now even easier to access.
You can find us at https://t.co/a0wjwv9CdX - a shorter, simpler way to reach the platform.
https://t.co/WPMDKLGVae is still fully available as well, so both domains will continue to work.
Same platform. Easier address.

The builders turning ideas into reality.
The leaders making decisions that will shape how AI enters our businesses and our lives.
The policymakers asking the difficult questions.
The startups taking risks.
And the global community that has gathered around this Summit for the past decade.
To our incredible Community Partners helping us take that community far beyond Amsterdam, including DutchBasecamp, Inside Telecom, StartupAmsterdam, Startup Grind, Women in Product NL, Foment del Treball, Amsterdam AI and many, many more around the world: thank you.
