IMO we should call most of these L2 scalability solutions (validium, OR, etc.) "rollups", unless they have their own consensus + token (in which case they're just another L1 with a bridge).

I don't care if a zk rollup is not really "zk", because most of that tech is...

@cronokirby Still a weird analysis to me. I don’t remember the early stage of Eth but I’m pretty sure they did not with the EVM 0.1 without a testing and potentially control environment
