Beyond Scared Straight programs have been putting fear into the hearts of troubled young people for decades and this one looks like it is not playing any games - the whole concept is simple, show these kids exactly where their path is heading before they are too far gone to turn around.

Parents who wait until their child is already in handcuffs to get serious about intervention are usually too late. Get involved early, get them into programs like this, and let real consequences do the talking before a judge is doing it for you.

A lot of people debate whether these programs actually work and the research is mixed - but there are thousands of people walking free today who will tell you that one scared straight moment changed the entire direction of their life.
