@KateRomano2 Several years ago, I went round Timothy Quay’s house for dinner (Quay Brothers). The Streets of Crocodiles had been shown on C4, the beginning of the channels infancy. We had quite a conversation about why C4 now only shows Come Dine With Me rather than edgy contemporary art.
Look what I've got tickets for! Not only is @KateRomano2 a brilliant CEO of @SGArtsCulture she also does concerts too! Looks fun! 3pm. I must remember 3pm and not turn up in the evening.... 3pm With @GodRob64

@EXAUDIensemble @LigetiQuartet Please add my name to this excellent letter - Rob Godman. The BBC Singers were responsible for one of my first professional performances and broadcasts on Radio 3 (SPNM, early ‘90’s). We cannot loose this ensemble. Too valuable for too many.
@mikejohnno @FPfromthelab@incipitsify Hi all - I've posted a MIDI file of a pendulum wave here.

(it's MIDI, not audio!) I was going to post the code but there's a few issues with it at present, so... But if anyone wants to play with it - badger me. Other Pend stuff:

@FPfromthelab@incipitsify Good thanks. Still at UH and currently enjoying it! Let me dig out the code and I’ll send it over. Pendulum waves are a lot of fun!
A review of our film/installation currently showing in Belgrade and Istanbul. ‘This you must remember’ is about the trauma caused by the war in Abkhazia in the early ‘90’s. Sadly, there are a lot of parallels to conflicts in other parts of the world. https://t.co/HkvIlvPpyn
@robinrimbaud@MuteUK@ThrobbingGrstle@chris_carter_ Memory failing, but bought… I think 1989 Kate Bush Sensual World and Gabriel Last temptation of Christ (which I copied to cassette to travel around India with a Sony Pro Walkman). Before, stole from an ex, Strauss 4 last songs (Kiri). Still play all, well not Gabriel.

@KateRomano2 That’s a thing of beauty. I always try to hang on to my sketches although incredibly tempting to trash them. Notation packages don’t allow this degree of analysis- well, it’s different. I remember looking at the Varese sketches, the pressure of the pen/pencil on paper etc…
@robinrimbaud Crikey! The Sony Pro has always been a thing of beauty. That does seem quite a lot… Could be tempted to sell mine for 10% less than that! Mines’s got the case - so that should be an extra 2k!
@ABRSM So just to be clear. ABRSM stated this at the Expo? I would like to point out we are living in the 21st C. This exam methodology was outdated in the 20th C. ABRSM may want to clarify what ‘debate’ you are attempting to initiate. The debate appears to be about your relevance.
