@MarisaDoom No brain rot here, this is not a compliment.. If i said these exact words to my gf of 4 years who i plan to spend life with, she would feel hurt, unappealing, and it would demean the life we chose to spend together. It feels more like a backhanded compliment than anything.

@InternetH0F Hellllll no. One family hosts one weekend, the other family hosts another weekend. Your kid’s friends should be treated like family while staying over. Even if you’re broke. That’s normal. You only ask for money if you’re taking them to a theme park or something.

@AfricanDoll__ Personally, i feel like she is not living in poverty, doesn’t know exactly how much all their expenses are, and is bad at math. I’d bet her husband makes at least 50-60k and possibly more, and they probably don’t live in California.
