@k_mfundopraise@Thee_All_Mother I think you missed Malema point completely and it’ssad
I live in Musina, we live harmoniously with the Zimbabweans. We don’t even see the difference
America’s president, Donald Trump, has been lying about a genocide happening in South Africa, aided by other white supremacists like Elon Musk.
America’s investigative news and current affairs television programme, 60 Minutes, went to South Africa looking for Trump’s so-called white genocide. Naturally, they found nothing.
Award-winning journalist Anderson Cooper exposes Trump’s embarrasing lies.
Zimbabwean journalist Blessed Mhlanga shared a powerful personal account of how the Zimbabwean regime persecuted him simply for doing his job, a stark illustration of how the country has regressed from Robert Mugabe’s gutter into Emmerson Mnangagwa’s sewer.
Mhlanga addressed a full audience at the Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy in Switzerland, detailing the intimidation, harassment and reprisals he faced for practising journalism in a country where press freedom continues to shrink and dissent is increasingly criminalised.
I have just finished watching this documentary film on the history of colonial Rhodesia and the war between the Rhodesian forces and the liberation armies of ZANLA and ZIPRA.
The Rhodesian Air Force had 70 aircraft, making it the second-largest air force in Sub-Saharan Africa, second only to the South African Air Force.
Fascinating documentary film showing the major airforce executions and how the liberation armies were fighting back.
If I call for a plumber, electrician, mechanic, builder or locksmith and they arrive in this bad boy, I immediately conclude:
- Decades of experience
- His father did the same job
- Work will be done properly
😁
Do not be deceived, apartheid was brutal in southern Africa. There was no mercy for Blacks. Below are some of the massacres including concentration camps.
1. Namibia (South West Africa)
Shark Island Concentration Camp (1904–1908) – German Namibia
Casualties: 50,000–100,000
Details: During German colonial rule, the Herero and Nama genocide occurred. German forces, under General Lothar von Trotha, forced Herero and Nama people into concentration camps like Shark Island, where thousands died from forced labor, starvation, and disease.
Cassinga Massacre (May 4, 1978) – NamibiaCasualties: Over 600 people killed
Details: South African Defense Forces bombed a SWAPO refugee camp in Cassinga, Angola, killing hundreds, mostly women and children.
2. Zimbabwe (Rhodesia)
Chimoio and Nyadzonya Massacres (1977) – Mozambique
Casualties: Over 1,000 killed
Details: The Rhodesian military, under Ian Smith, bombed and attacked ZANLA guerrilla camps in Mozambique, killing fighters and civilians.
Gukurahundi Massacres (1983–1987) – ZimbabweCasualties: Estimated 20,000 Ndebele civilians
Details: The Zimbabwean government, led by Robert Mugabe, used the North Korean-trained Fifth Brigade to crush opposition in Matabeleland, killing and torturing thousands.
3. South Africa
Sharpeville Massacre (March 21, 1960)
Casualties: 69 people killed, over 180 injured
Details: Police opened fire on peaceful anti-pass law protesters in Sharpeville.
Soweto Uprising (June 16, 1976)
Casualties: Officially 176 killed (unofficial estimates over 700)
Details: Black schoolchildren protesting against Afrikaans-language education were met with brutal police force.
4. Mozambique & Angola
Wiriyamu Massacre (1972) – MozambiqueCasualties: Over 400 civilians killed
Details: Portuguese troops massacred civilians in a counter-insurgency operation.
Luanda Massacre (1961) – AngolaCasualties: Thousands killed
Details: Portuguese authorities massacred Angolan independence activists.
MY TAKE: The way forward is honesty, reform, and peace. No one should be excluded from economic opportunities because of their skin color or ethnicity. No one should be attacked or killed for being Black, White, Brown, or Asian. No one should be sent to concentration camps because of their race. The only path forward is justice and peace. Any demagogue who tells you otherwise is lying.

@Newzroom405 At the same breath, the zamazamas mine old pillars which were designed to keep the mine safe. With the minining of these pillars, the next question will be, is it safe to go down and rescue them whilst endangering the lives of the rescuers?
@Newzroom405 Government officials should make every attempt to safeguard the lives of its citizens irrespective of the crimes they committed. Such statements are reckless
@Newzroom405 The government is responsible to ensure mining houses seal/close out (rehabilitate) these mines to prevent access in the interests of the health and safety of civil society. Failure to enforce this has resulted in illegal mining at large.
I have just finished watching this ANC conference held in 1991 in KZN.
You cannot help but shed tears seeing how focused the ANC leaders were and how things have now turned out.
I went to university with ANC and PAC comrades, some of whom are now generals.
That is why I admired their determination and focus, because I witnessed it.
What went wrong?
