Sometimes as humans, we have to make hard choices, choices that might look wrong to others, but you know you’re right in the long run. Jesus is that choice today.

Now if you will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me. And if not, tell me, that I may turn to the right hand or to the left. (Gen. 24:49)

And this day I came to the well and said, ‘O Lord, God of my master Abraham, if You will now prosper the way in which I go. (Gen. 24:42)

You will be clear from this oath when you arrive among my family, for if they will not give her to you, then you will be released from my oath. (Gen. 24:41)

But he said to me, ‘The Lord, before whom I walk, will send His angel with you and prosper your way and you shall take a wife for my son from my family and from my father’s house. (Gen. 24:40)

And I said to my master, ‘Perhaps the woman will not follow me’. (Gen. 24:39)

But I said to my master, ‘What if I can’t find a young woman who is willing to go back with me? (Gen. 24:39)

But you shall go to my father’s house and to my family, and take a wife for my son. (Gen. 24:38)

And my master made me take an oath. He said, ‘Do not allow my son to marry one of these local Canaanite women. (Gen. 24:37)

When Sarah, my master’s wife, was very old, she gave birth to my master’s son, and my master has given him everything he owns. (Gen. 24:36)
