🔴 Even when they were pursuing Diomande, the Reds were already targeting a double move with Barcola. Liverpool were there last summer (well before targeting Diomande) and came back again last winter to keep constant contact: they’ve wanted Bradley for a long time.

The intention has always been to sign two wingers. If Bradley Barcola joins Liverpool, it will be to play on the left.

In parallel, they are looking for another profile capable of playing on the right, or ideally on both wings, which explains their interest in Mbaye.

Liverpool have room for both Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye in their squad despite there only being one non-homegrown slot currently available.

Mbaye would not need to be registered as a senior player in the Premier League until 2029/30 when he will be 21. #LFC
