There’s nothing I’ve ever set my mind on that I haven't achieved. I may have been delayed, distracted and pushed down, but I have achieved every single one of them. It then means that if I want more, I can have it.
Stop loosening your hair while it's dry (first spray with water and leave-in conditioner for ease)
Gently detangle first before combing and don't comb your hair like you're in a fight.
Avoid tight hairstyles or hairdressers who handle your hair like it's on a mannequin.
@Chioma__Amadi Remote work will swallow you whole if you let it, so guard your mornings!
Wrote a whole book on this and everything else nobody tells you about working from home... The eating, the weight, the focus, the loneliness, the boundaries, all of it.

Major cheat code for life: Be fully where your feet are. When you're at work, work. When you're with family, be with family. When you're resting, rest. Most people are physically present and mentally everywhere else.
Compared to my peers, I have never achieved anything in my life and career at record time.
Never.
I am the queen of trailing behind.
I would fail exams multiple times.
Fail aptitude tests
Fail at interviews
Fail at getting promoted
I stayed in roles and grades for longer than I should have.
For me, life seems to drag.
It is a pattern, and that is the story of my life.
I would try really hard, but I would fail.
I would debrief on why I couldn’t hit key milestones and see some valid reasons; sometimes, they wouldn’t make sense.
This bothered me every time I introspect, but then it stopped bothering me.
At least not so much anymore.
The reason is that I am pretty resilient.
My journey is complex, thorny, uncertain and quite complicated, but I seem to stay the course.
I realised that I do not get demotivated, no matter the number of ‘No’s I get.
It just fuels me instead.
I think that’s a superpower (what do you think?).
And I show up again and again and again because I want it badly.
So, whatever I have achieved so far in my life is not because I am good at it from the first time; it is mainly that I have become so resilient that I stay on the hill until I get it.
This is my story.
I have begged before I got
I have scraped before I ate
I have stayed knocking before the door opened for me.
There was hardly any magic or any leverage.
My leverage is my resilience, and I use it to my advantage.
That’s how I win.
Maybe that's how you win, too. I'm not sure, but you know better.
Go and be fantastic today.

- Beauty comes in different shades, shapes, and forms. Don't let anyone tell you what beauty should look like.
- Invest in your health. Prevention is better and less expensive than cure.
- Whatever you're doing to make your life better, be consistent with it.
It may be difficult at first, but you'll get used to it over time.
Just don't sit for hours at a stretch.
Now, get up and move around a bit.
T for tenks!
See some dangers of a sedentary lifestyle below:
- Being sedentary slows metabolism and circulation, making it easier to gain weight and develop heart disease.
- Long periods of not using muscles leads to wasting and loss of muscle mass and strength.
✅If you're at work, you could go say hi to your colleague, disturb someone a bit or have a quick chat with someone.
Setting a reminder to get up probably every hour or every two hours will make it even easier.
But did you know that sitting for long periods slows metabolism, drains your energy, and increases your risk of chronic diseases?
It's worse if you don't drink water often, because it means you won't have to get up to use the restroom in hours.
If your job involves you working at a desk, being sedentary is normal.
You don't even have to want to keep sitting.
Work will just keep you there, and before you know it, you've been sitting for up to 4 long hours at a stretch, sometimes longer before you realise it.
DON'T JUST SIT THERE
Sitting all day is sucking the life out of you - literally
You've heard that sitting too much is bad, but the shocking truth is prolonged sitting literally reduces your life expectancy.
A short thread...
