When someone tells you who they are, believe them.
Stop trying to change people, only to guilt-trip them later for being exactly who they said they were and not the version you imagined or hoped they would become.
People are not projects.
Accept them for who they are, or accept that they may not be the right fit for your life.

This news is from an unverified source but Instead of the fear mongering, let’s state out some facts and extract the good news from this bad news.
It is bad news that new infections are being recorded in such a short time interval but on the flip side. It is good news because 👇
1. More People are getting tested and more people know their HIV status.
2. those who tested positive start their medications and remain consistent with it.
With ARVs (anti Retro Viral) medications, they are able to live a normal. Healthy and happy life. Attain the U = U status (undetected = untransmittable) meaning they can’t transmit the virus to other people.
3. Those who haven’t tested, get tested as soon as possible.
4. Those who are high risk patients take the HIV prevention shot, Lenacapavir, every six months to protect them from getting HIV even after coming in contact with infected blood/body fluid
5. Those who are negative remain negative by using a condom during sex or taking PEP(post-exposure prophylaxis) or PrEP (pre exposure prophylaxis)
6. More people will Abstain
7. More people will Remain faithful to a mutually faithful partner ‘cos your boo might have a boo that has 2 other boos in lekki and gbagada
HIV is not the problem. Misinformation, late detection, no treatment and stigma is. Selah.
For a city that ranks third top tier city in Nigeria, Port Harcourt isn’t quite living up to its rank.
Too many roads are still in poor condition.
The city seems to go to sleep far too early, with many businesses shutting their doors by 7 p.m.
There are very few 24-hour businesses serving residents.
Getting a cab at night can be frustrating.
Even finding a decent meal after dark is harder than it should be.
A truly world-class city doesn’t just function from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It should be safe, accessible, vibrant, and economically active around the clock.
PH people, what exactly is the problem?
I just heard about a chronically ill patient who died because they were told by their pastor that they had been healed and no longer needed their medications.
My heart is heavy.
If you’ve been told you’ve been spiritually healed, praise God.
But please… don’t stop taking your prescribed medications until the doctor managing your condition tells you it’s safe to do so.
Faith and medicine are not enemies.
Pray.
Believe.
Trust God.
And take your medications.
God can perform miracles, but He also works through the hands, knowledge, and wisdom of healthcare professionals.
While you trust God for your spiritual healing, allow your doctor to help you achieve your physical healing too.
Stopping treatment without medical advice has cost lives.
Your doctor is not against your healing.
They are part of it.

People just post things without any correlation. How do you say there is a need for amputation from spinal cord injury? Don’t you have doctor friends you can ask for clarification before posting things like this?
Losing weight isn’t about fitting into a smaller size or meeting someone else’s beauty standard.
For many people, it’s about giving the body a better chance to thrive.
A healthy amount of weight loss can:
• Lower your risk of type 2 diabetes.
• Improve blood pressure and heart health.
• Reduce stress on your knees, hips, and back.
• Improve sleep, especially if you snore or have sleep apnea.
• Increase energy levels and make daily activities easier.
• Improve fertility in some people.
• Reduce the risk of fatty liver disease.
• Ease symptoms of conditions like arthritis and acid reflux.
• Improve cholesterol levels.
• Boost confidence, mobility, and overall quality of life.
Remember, not everyone needs to lose weight, and health cannot be judged by appearance alone.
The goal isn’t to become the smallest version of yourself.
It’s to become the healthiest version of yourself.
Be kind to your body. Care for it with nourishing food, regular movement, adequate sleep, and routine medical checkups.
