This is total drivel. The Royal Marines are going to forcibly return migrants to France? There are circa 6,000 Royal Marines, many already fully deployed in essential work for our national security. There are 96,000 very well-armed French gendarmes + the national police + municipal police. And that’s with out calling in the 10,000 French super-trained commandos. Not to mention the formidable GIGN. Is Reform trying to start a war with France? One we’d lose …. Bonkers.
@ZiaYusufUK What an absolute disaster of an interview, he really thinks the French will just bend over and say ‘oh sorry yeah we’re in the wrong we’ll take all the migrants back off your hands’ how anybody votes for these people is beyond me.
Let me say this very directly.
Football does not belong to investors. It belongs to the people who fill the stands and who stand on the touchline week in, week out, rain or shine.
The World Cup is not a product. It is the greatest competition in world sport, and it was never anyone's to sell. Dress the deal up however you like. Once you have sold a piece of it, you have sold out.
Football belongs to the fans. It always has, and it always will.
@CitizenSuburbia It’s not about not needing the money, gone are the days of forcing players to stay who don’t want to. If he wants to go, let him go and reinvest into the squad.
@FollowEverton Do you not think they’re already trying to do this? You can’t make another club buy players you don’t want at a price of their choice it doesn’t work like that.
@Littlefield79 But if the player really wants to go then you just can’t have him around I’m afraid, you have to let him go and get the best price you can get.
@BobbyLondon00@talkSPORT It was the players who sat back after the goal, this was not the direction from the manager, the manager wanted them to go for the second goal but he could see it wasn’t going to happen and they were goosed, he had no choice but to make def subs to keep us in the game.
