My initial reaction to the Myles Garrett trade was, “Eh, the #Bills wouldn’t have been able to match the #Rams offer with a player like Jared Verse anyways (age + talent + contract), at least Garrett went to the NFC.”
But then the more I thought about it, I began to think, “Well how do the Rams, a Super Bowl-contending team with an MVP-level QB (just like us), continue to pull off these big trades while also having two stud receivers, a great young defense and a ton of cap space every year?” (I guess to answer my own question, the key is hitting on draft picks.)
I don’t know, it’s frustrating when the Rams are ultra-aggressive even after winning the Super Bowl just 5 years ago, but I see both sides to this discussion.
What I do know is that it’s way too nice of a day to be arguing about football on June 1.
Go Bills ✌️ #BillsMafia
Kaleb Elarms-Orr sounds like Jim Leonhard's hand-picked day 1 starter. Glows (for him) when talking about KEO. Seems like a huge hit in round 4 for the team
What a wild ride the last month was with playoff hockey back in Buffalo.
Between being inside KeyBank Center for a game, going to Canalside for multiple watch parties and then being inside the arena for the insane Game 6 watch party, I was able to experience it all, something I haven’t been able to do since I was in 6th grade.
Wouldn’t want to share these moments with any city other than beautiful Buffalo, NY… Until next year! #LetsGoBuffalo ⚔️
Bills schedule breakdown:

Just to be clear, I’m not suggesting that there is a 15+ sack artist out there who the #Bills should have signed this late into the offseason. Danna is a fine signing for May 11.
I’m simply saying that it was another offseason where Brandon Beane did not add a dominant pass rusher and rather, signed & drafted multiple solid pass rushers who they are hoping will combine for that type of production.
Clearly they identified EDGE/OLB as a bigger need than NT and ILB, so now it’s up to Leonhard to be able to use them effectively, as I alluded to. #BillsMafia
Mike Danna would be a nice addition for this part of the offseason. Signed a 3 year 24m deal just 2 years ago.
42 starts over the last 3 years and 21.5 sacks total
Some #Bills thoughts from today:
🔹It sucks seeing The Ralph getting demolished. I know the new Highmark Stadium is going to be amazing, but it’s still hard to watch one of the places that you grew up in come down.
🔹The Giants signed DT D.J. Reader to a 2-year, $12.5M deal today, so that dream is officially dead… Good thing DeWayne Carter bulked up during his rehab process 🙄🙃 … Say what you want about what Jim Leonhard wants from his defensive line, but Reader would’ve been a great addition to the Bills defense, especially at this time of the year.
Anyways, Go Sabres.

Some housekeeping notes for this week:
1.) If you want to say “Go Sabs,” put the e in there so that it says “Sabes” because Sabs rhymes with Habs, and we can’t have that this week.
2.) Only chant Montreal’s goalie’s name (Dobes) when the Sabres are winning. Chanting the opposing goalie’s name when the game is tied or when the Sabres are losing only adds fuel to the fire and seems to work against us.
3.) If you really want to sell your tickets or can’t go to the game, sell them personally to family or friends so we can prevent as much red from entering the arena as we can!
#LetsGoBuffalo
Keep playoff tickets in the hands of Sabres fans. I’ll do whatever I can to help. If you have any for sale you can post them below. I’ll even help facilitate it.

If you’re wondering what this means for the #Bills and NT D.J. Reader…
According to @DDuggan21, the Giants wanted to sign a 3-tech and a 1-tech. They got the 3-tech in Harris, and Reader is still the “top target” at 1-tech.
And based on how the Bills operated at the draft this past weekend, passing on NT Kayden McDonald at No. 35 and then subsequently drafting a 290-pound DT in the 5th round, I’m going to stop banging the drum for Reader. Of course I think he’d help Buffalo’s run defense, but at this point, it doesn’t seem like filling that position is a priority for the Bills.
#BillsMafia
The Bills took a slight trade down to go to 31 in the first place after trading down to 28 to begin with.
Brandon Beane mentioned from the start wanting one of the pass rushers
Cooper was NOT the pick
Here’s my #Bills post draft reaction.
Day 1: Solid trades, good value
Day 2: Horrendous use of assets
Day 3: Brandon Beane saved himself by making some very nice additions where the positional value finally matched the positional need
Overall Grade: B-
