@willjohnsonbf1 The issue isn’t that he’s not a 1C, he absolutely is and is arguably in the top half of 1Cs when you look at his full game objectively and include more than G/A. Faceoffs, 2 way player, PK1 and PP1, etc. The issue is he likely wouldn’t be a 1C on a playoff team.

@SomeCallMeCoach He’s a top 20 center in the league. Perennial 30 goal scorer. Plays 200 feet. Excellent on the dot. He’s no world beater, but his value is absolutely higher due to his contract and lack of available C.

@blakejames_ That’s why I said you could argue it. 16 & 18 he was somewhere between 1-3. The issue is, and always has been with things like this, the team. Bucs were bad and their great players got overlooked. LVD probably deserved DPOY over Kuechly in 2013 as well. But, team success matters.

@blakejames_ Evans is a first ballot HOF player IMO. Slight bias as a Bucs fan. But he’s the model of consistency and there were years you could argue he was the best WR in the league. Calvin was just a whole other level. Calvin is top 5 all time, arguably top 3. Evans probably isn’t top 10.
